We collect information in two ways:

1. Information you give us directly

When you fill out our contact form or AEO scoring tool, we collect your name, email address, business name, phone number, and any other details you choose to provide. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to follow up on services you've expressed interest in. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, we use analytics tools that collect standard web data: pages visited, time on site, referring source, device type, and approximate location (city/country level). This helps us understand how people find and use our site so we can improve it.

Google Analytics 4. We use GA4 to understand traffic sources, page engagement, and whether visitors convert to leads. Google may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy. IP addresses are anonymized by default. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps, which help us understand how visitors interact with our pages. Clarity automatically masks form fields and sensitive content. You can learn more at clarity.microsoft.com/privacy.

GA4 and Clarity set cookies in your browser to distinguish visits and track sessions. These are analytics cookies; they are not used for advertising and we do not run retargeting campaigns. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to use this site.

Contact form submissions, AEO scan results, voice demo transcripts, and chat assistant transcripts are stored securely in Supabase, a hosted database service. We retain this data to respond to you and to review and improve our services. Aside from these, we do not retain data for visitors who do not contact us beyond what Google and Microsoft collect through their analytics platforms.

Our site includes an AI voice demo and a chat assistant. When you use the voice demo, your microphone audio is used only for the length of the call to power the conversation. We do not keep the audio, but we do save a text transcript of the call and an automated quality score. When you use the chat assistant, we save a transcript of the conversation. We use these transcripts to review and improve how our assistants handle calls and chats. We do not sell or share them, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

The voice demo answers for a fictional company and cannot dispatch help. If you have a real emergency, call 911.

• Share your contact details with third parties outside of delivering our services
• Send unsolicited marketing emails (you'll only hear from us if you contacted us first)

You can request to view, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you at any time. Just email us at david@citeddigital.com and we'll respond within 5 business days.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We don't anticipate frequent changes; we're a small company and our data practices are simple.
